Referral Program:

Referrals typically will come to HR from one of three methods: Through AWeber and the Code of Conduct quiz, from the Staffing Manager or Management via email or from direct phone call to the office. Our referrals are broken down into two categories:

  • Standard Referrals: The standard referral program is our program assigned to staff referred by other staff for a general hire. This program consists of the new referral completing three successful events with the company. This will be tracked in the vetting spreadsheet doc under the referral tab as linked above.

Payments will be made monthly on the first payroll of the month as the spreadsheet will be reconciled at that time. Payment will be as follows: $15 for the referrer and $10 for the referee. (We can update this as needed after the research)

  • Event Referrals: The event referral program is our program assigned to staff that are referred from other staff for a specific event. These people will be paid additional hourly for the event. This count will count toward standard referral program. (i.e. Sarah refers John for specific event. Sarah makes an extra $1 per hour on the event & this event counts towards John’s three events for the standard referral program.

Referral Program Steps:

  • Referral comes in from staff to HR via phone call, code of conduct or through the staffing manager. At that time, HR will add applicant to the referral program spreadsheet.
  • The first workday of each month, the referral spreadsheet will be reconciled and updated to reflect how many events each referral has completed.
  • Once three events have been worked, HR will verify the standing of both the referrer and the referee. If both are in good standing, each will be added to the PSS Upload spreadsheet for payment of the bonuses.
  • On the spreadsheet, line should be highlighted yellow with “referral bonus” in the employee ID column letting management know what the payment is for.
  • Name can be highlighted green on the referral program spreadsheet to indicate that referral has been paid.
  • Also note in the notes section the date that referral was put on upload spreadsheet.

Stage One: 1st Event Feedback):  This survey is called our 1st Event Feedback. We email this out to staff after their 1st event to get a feel of how they felt regarding their initial contact with PES as well as how they felt through their first event.

The questions in this survey include the following:

  • How would you rate your overall experience with the hiring process?

  • How would you rate your post event experience? (Communication, pay, etc)
  • Please give any comments or suggestions you may have that we could use to create a better staff experience, or anything that caused you to rate us at less than a 5 star.

Stage Two: Current Staff Feedback:  This survey is utilized quarterly and sent to our current and active staff members to give them a voice as well as to get feedback on morale and any changes we can make on a management level in order to better retain our current staff.

Stage Three: Activity Feedback:  This survey is utilized when a staff member is moved to DNU due to inactivity in Ubeya. We will use this information to get a feel for what has caused them to stop responding to events or to see if there are corrections we could make on our end to work towards more retention.

Training Program:

This section will discuss the breakdown of who the training links are offered to and at what point it is utilized.

  • The training links will be used only as a coaching tool for the Staffing Managers to use when negative feedback is received on a specific staff member, as well as can be utilized at their discretion to give some extra training to specific staff members.

  • When training is sent, Staffing Manager will put a comment on the staff profile in Ubeya, as well as they will send an email to HR who will change their market to “Poor Performance” and once training is come completed and returned, market will be put back in by HR and comment in the profile will be updated by Staffing Manager.
